Traits Shared by both ulnar races


Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Intelligence increases by 1.

Age: Ulnar reach adulthood around age 20, and can live for 300 years.

Size: Ulnar have the same proportions as humans. Your size is medium.

Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages: Common, Ulnar, plus 1 extra language of your choice.

Crystal Clarity: Your attunement towards magic gives you advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Third eye: You have proficiency in the Perception skill.


Choose a race for your character: lunar or solar.


Lunar race

Members of this race are often nocturnal, but can retrain their sleeping patterns as easily as anyone can.

Superior darkvision: You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.

Darken: At third level you can cast "darkness". No material components are needed, and INT is your spellcasting ability for it. You may not cast darkness again until a long rest is completed.

Proficiencies: Rapiers, shortsword, crossbows, survival


Solar race


Bask: You receive vitality from the sun. Once per day while in sunlight, a short rest allows one extra hit die to be rolled without expending an extra hit die.

Radiant: At 1st level you may cast the “light” spell, centered on yourself. No material components are needed, and INT is your spellcasting ability for it. You may not radiate light again until a long rest is completed.
