Letter from Emma to Samuel

Samuel,

The medical development program is progressing to schedule, I should be able to return to San Francisco at the start of September as planned. Thank you for handling the extra duties during my absence, as always you have been invaluable.

Do be aware that two deliveries have been sent to the bath house. The first may have already arrived. This is a stereoscopic photo of my current work in Panama. Do have Sven set this up in the "Panorama", it would be flattering to have a small adventure of mine sit alongside those of my father.

The second was recently sent by way of the US Navy, if you can believe it! Dr Harold's contact here, Emmanuel, worked his magic and convinced the navy base to send the package on their next boat out. This is a box containing a large assortment of pottery specimens for the museum, from early cultures of Central America. I think they are Cuevan, but Hazel will know better than I. The S.S. Liberty should provide a safer ride for such fragile wares than any commercial service. She is scheduled to arrive in the bay on the morning of the 2nd of August, expect the cargo then.

Until September,
   Doctor Emma Sutro Merritt
