"ACS"   CHARACTERS

Very tiny, 16x16 character & monster tiles made within the software, "Stuart Smith's Adventure Construction Set", on an Amiga.
The software was released (& used) in the 1980's, although these particular tilesets were created close to the mid-1990's.
Often while listining to the wonderful "Quique" album. The game designed (but never completed) was quite plot-intensive, with multiple
possible endings. All of which were major downers involving the player being unwittingly responsible for the death of a world. Heh heh.

And a bunch of them sitting at a table...

The limitations Adventure Construction Set (ACS) placed onto the creator were astoundingly tight. The image above of the meeting
room, for example, was actually divided into two halves due to the limit on the maximum number of creatures allowed in a "region"
(A region is a collection of rooms. Of which you were allowed very few.)

(The game's package is literally bursting at the seams due to the great amount of design
documents I crammed into it.)
